LMAO, I just dropped my HBO yesterday because they have been showing the same crap over and over. I only keep the digital cable so I can get NFL Sunday Ticket and NHL Center Ice packages.

My take: because for me there is just enough that I want to watch, to make it worth it.

There are so many channels I don't watch, and wouldn't touch, like Golf Channel and Speedvision, but somewhere out there, there are people who love those channels and have them on 24/7.

That is the great thing, there is something for everyone.

I agree 100% ... I have Direct TV with over 300 channels and I always seem to be watching local ones (soaps, big brother, american idol etc.)
I keep it because my Kids would miss it ....
They think I'm crazy when I say I grew up with only 7 channels!LOL
