Me, I will wait and see.

But government run medicine, my prediction, is a dreadful scenario.

Deport undocumented people (which Democrats are against) and most of California's health care problems go away. There won't be more hospital closures because of the undocumented foreigners. California already spends over $10 billion a year on undocumented people. That is $50 billion over the last five years. (Also, it is a myth they are needed to pick vegetables. Growers refuse to buy new machines after their machines break because they found out it is cheaper to hire undocumented workers. Too bad their savings are not passed on to consumers since families in California spend over $1000 a year in taxes on undocumented people.)

You really need to ask how it will affect businesses. I am sure many businesses will leave the state if they are taxed over 5% more ( which is what Democrats in California want) just to pay for the program.

Most of the people uninsured in California are undocumented workers. Those people are going to have a field day when they use their fake social security numbers to access any and all free medical services.

Businesses groups are already coming out against the program. That is bad for workers in California.

I'm glad he has pushed for socialized health care in California. You see, California is one of the largest (population wise) states in our country, and if socialized health care fails in California...it will lose a lot of support among the people who want to see it implemented across the country.

Yes...socialized health care is working in Massachusetts - but Massachusetts' population is insignificant compared to California and the entire combined population of the United States.

Socialism (in all forms) works well with small populations, but fails miserably when implemented with larger populations. And as soon as California's health care system fails and crumbles because it was permitted to become socialized, we'll have a reason not to implement socialized health care coast-to-coast.

In case you haven't got the memo, Arnold is a democrat in elephants clothing. We are a blue state. If he wasn't so liberal, he never would have had a chance of winning. Cons here don't care for him but he had the republican name so we voted for him. Oh well. He has aspirations of running for the senate and is just saying what the liberals want to hear to insure himself a victory when he runs.

More power to him. He seems to excell where others fail. I think he's doing a great job with such a huge number of average people. California has so many problems and he's doing a good job there anyway.
I think if you listened to any republican candidates they all have a sort of state wide health care reform approach. Rather than having it universal accross the country. Which is nice, let states decide how to run their state. Keep it local.

Sorry to disappoint someone that constantly says inflammatory things to try start arguments and cause more division between people, but it doesn't mean a hill of beans to me so I won't have a reaction if it happens.

The same way neo-cons (and all conservatives for that matter) react to anything that might conceivably prevent them from making a buck selling something: like angry river rats protecting their nest.

No such thing as "neo-cons". Like references to "libtards" this merely makes the questioner look foolish.

Same way they would react to Hillary's plan, then we will sit back and watch it crash and burn. Sad we cant learn from Canada's mistake, they are allowing their citizens to buy their own health insurance. that way they don't have to suffer the government system.

Guess what--Arnold's a neo-con too. This thing will never fly.
