...As a fourth grade boy who would like to get into the entertainment industry?

I have no acting experience. Suggestions of good classes to take, too?

(Yes. I used spell check for the words entertainment, suggestions, experience and industry.)

Since you are only in 4th grade, I would start out taking things slowly, since you have your whole life ahead of you and you don't need to decide exactly what you're going to do with your whole life right now. Getting into acting shouldn't be too serious at this time; it should be fun! The easiest way to start would be to find a community theater and start getting involved with it. Also, get involved with your school drama club. (I don't know if you'll have one at your school now, but you probably will in middle school and high school). If you've decided that you really want to get into show biz, you'll need to start taking things more seriously. When you want to get into the entertainment industry, you have to be a triple-threat-- that means being an excellent singer, dancer, and actor. Learn how to read music, take voice lessons or sing in a choral ensemble, and learn as much about music theory as you can. I know it may be awkward to take dance lessons as a boy, but if you want to get into theater as opposed to movies, learning some jazz dance definitely has its benefits. Good luck...and like I said before, have fun!

You seem very well spoken and intelligent. Which is vital along with maturaty in the industry. You should have no problem as long as you get in touch with some type of agent maybe in a phone book, dress very nicely, speak clearly and act mature and laid back.

I would talk to your parents about getting you into the biz by going to open auditions for commercials :) that is how most of the big stars out there today got their start
