I don't know about the media player to itunes to ipod. To delete a song, I uncheck the box to the left of the song title in itunes.

ok on itunes on the left side there should be a thing that says playlists. drag your song to that word and it puts it on your ipod. how to delete: right click on the song and a box should show up one of the options should be delete so click it and vwala. your done.

from your itunes library, select the songs you like, and drag them to where your ipod is listed on the side. that way, you dont need to sync songs you dont want, or delete them.
