I took Paxil for 9 years and have been on Cymbalta for the past 11 months (I quit the Paxil for the Cymbalta). I'm almost 35 and have been experiencing arousal problems for a few years now. I'm not impotent just don't feel turned on much anymore. I still have the feelings for women in my head but it doesn't seem to wake up Mr Happy that much at all anymore. Could being on these pills for so long have an effect or is it temporay or what? (I suffer from chronic depression and anxiety that leads to panic attacks).

Paxil is especially bad on males. The noodle drug. I'm glad you changed to Cymbalta. Ask your doctor for a prescription of Viagra. It will solve your problem.

I know exactly what you mean. I've been taking depression/anxiety/seizure medication for about the same amount of time. I think the numb feeling I have physically only intensifies the desire to be normal. It's tough. I wish more than anything that I didn't get bored vibe from women.
I think Mr. Happy has become Mr. Oh-I'll-be-alright

You pegged it. ED is a common side-effect for almost all the anti-depressants. Your mental health professional can probably give you free samples of Viagra, CIalis and/or Levitra to check out.

Good luck!
