You strike a pose
Pout your lips
Flip your hair
And shake your hips
Hide the truth
To who you are
Hiding your
Emotional scars
Who are you?
Just ask yourself
Look in the mirror
As the truth comes out
Behind the eye makeup
The concealed face
Is a beauty within
You need to embrace
So wash off all your makeup
Take off your fancy clothes
Because who you are is someone that
You, yourself should know

Cool poem. I think it's great. Perhaps you can add on to your poem by rhyming the last word of the sentence with the previous or next sentence. But overall, it was great.

I like the part where you wrote, "Who are you? Just ask yourself". It seems like it's a poem about self-deceiving and putting a mask in public to conceal your real identity right? Good that you have weaved in a social issue of some sort into a poem simple but well-written. Keep writing! :)
