Georgia Rose is good, maybe her nickname could be Georgie because of the freckles. I like Tennessee for the state and her last name should be simple...a one syllable last name would be best.

Also...use your spell check...a writer should be able to spell.

How about Finch, as in Scout Finch from To Kill a Mockingbird. She was tomboyish. Other names could be McCullers or O'Connor, think Carson McCullers/Flannery O'Connor (famous southern women writers).

Keep the name Georgia. It's southern and it's more feminine sounding than Kentucky or Tennessee.

Keep the location in Georgia, that could be why her name is what it is, her parents decided she was just like a lovely rose, so they called her Georgia Rose-- I like it! :)
You are on the right track, goodluck!

Oh yes, about the last name... just like the other answerer said, I think O' Conner sounds good, the other one I just thought of is totally random, Rodrick, I kinda like the way it flows, but that is just my opinion.
Georgia Rose Rodrick ;-)

Goodluck and if I think of some more names, ill post them here :)
