God of War 1 and 2 are both great games. I like GoW2 better, but I'd play the first one before the 2nd one just to make more sense of the storyline.
I noticed you have Final Fantasy 12, so I will assume you like RPGs. Have you played Dragon Quest 8 - Journey of the Cursed King? This game is a great RPG, I honestly preferred it to FF12. Final Fantasy 10 is a terrific game. And if you like action RPGs, check out Dark Cloud 2.

great reviews for an rpg and you seem to like rpgs since you have final fantasy 12 (did you beat Yiazmat?!) 50,000,000 hp! i died after fighting it for 8 hours straight at levels 80+
