I have mailed corporations for complaints and for compliments. It's always nice to see that they will handle your comments with professionalism. I've been satisfied every time I've reached out to corporate head quarters.

yep; i bought some sandwich bags from a family dollar store a few years back. when i got them home to make burger patties to freeze up there seal was broken at the bottoms of them. i didn't have my receipt when i took them back because who keeps the receipt for something like that. they wouldn't let me ~exchange~ them because i didn't have the receipt. and they were family dollar brand! i said you gotta be joking! i wrote the corporate office and got a $10.00 gift certificate from them and an apology. it wasn't a money issue, it was that it was such a petty thing the clerk did! i used the certificate for i think some laundry soap, something i didn't have to really worry about being dysfunctional, like the clerk!!! lol! i didn't shop at those stores for a long time after that!

No. I am not the emailing or calling type, when complaining. I want to see someone face to face. Like... now! And if your boss isn't there, call him, I will wait. I want to SEE someone, and deal with the problem NOW! I am not much of a complainer. So it would take a lot for me to do it. In my family we call it getting Yerkes on people.

i asked for the corporate headquarter address and wrote a letter. i am very polite but tell them what pissed me off.
the 1st time they sent me a $10. gift certificate.
2nd time i got a $200. credit. the 3rd time nothing, not even a letter of apology. (these were 3 different businesses)

no, but i told customer service what to do with the credit
card.. i ordered my son a rolling backpack, when it came
in the handle was broke, i took it back to the store and they
weren't going to give me my shipping money back. it took
2 managers to understand that i didn't order a back pack
with a broken handle.
