If it is real marble, stone, the cigarette burn is just the tar and nicotine which will come off with a general purpose cleaner/degreaser such as 409 or Fantastik. If it is faux marble, a plastics compound, the burn is permanent.

I haven't gotten one removed, but I assume it is going to hurt. The ink is under your skin, there is going to be no easy way to get it out. I think I heard somewhere that getting one removed hurts eve more then getting the actual tattoo.

get some 000 sand paper and rub the burn marks out. Takes quite a while to do it, but is worth the effort.

You can also try a paste of baking soda and water, rub in a circular motion, and wipe with a soft cloth soaked in water.

steel wool or use soft scrub and then polish it circular motions only never rub back and forth in a staight line....
