does this sound feasable, because i thought most things would be melted in the molten lava but i wanted to know whether this would cause any adverse reactions like triggering an erruption and or create more green house gas pollution and or any other type of pollution.

You got it; they don't burn cleanly; they create more pollution.
Besides you couldn't get close enough safely to do this.
But high temperature incinerators reduce waste to plasma.

I can't believe I didn't think of this myself! The problem might be finding volcanoes that are very active--I'm not sure it would be a good idea to pile garbage into the crater of a volcano that doesn't have exposed magma or lava or whatever it's called when it's still in the mountain.

Yellowstone and Kilauea are both active.
