yes. my mom died of breast cancer when i was 18. i dropped out of college and spent the next four years addicted to drugs and alcohol in and out of jail. i finally went to rehab last year and have been clean and sober ever since. having a clear mind really helps you deal with things. i wish i hadn't made some of the choices i made, but if i hadn't i wouldnt be the strong person i am today. i think i'm dealing with it very well now. i am much more at peace with what happened.

My Father died when I was young. I was angry.
My Mother when I was 38ish. My beloved Gweneth was with me in the hospice and comforted me.
Gwenneth died when I was overseas and her hateful family claimed her remains, burying them in their "church's" private cemetery. The stone bears the words "UNKNOWN TO GOD".
When I first visited the grave I was abused by one of the relatives. "Satisfied now?LESBIANS NO YOUR LESS THAN NOTHING".Laden wit guilt and shame as I was I could have killed the woman with my bare hands. I found myself out in the street and walking home. Two days later I began to have shaking fits, I lost my job and went into a suicidal depression and alcoholism.
My Brother and his family saved me.

yes, both my grandparents who raised me.
Death is inevitable, letting go will be as painful as you make it.
Because we have to recover from the experience, who said how long this process should last? The sooner the better.
