hmmm. I use Occam's razor. I reduce the problem by putting it into a category. Then I use just well earned wisdom and knowledge to solve it.
Even emotional problems can be solved this way. There aren't hard problems, there are only hidden solutions. If you look for them they are right in front of you. We just tend to blow off what is not acceptable to us. All problems can be solved, we just don't like the results, so we cop out.

it depends i tackle the easy problems when i do homework or something like that but if ur talking about cleaning or outside work i always like to get the hard part out of the way

You should answer the easier first so that you can have more time on the hard ones. Instead of having to spend all your time on the hard ones then not having time to do the easy ones

on a test? the easy ones that way i get easy points then i go back to the hard ones. if i dont get it in the first few minutes or completely stumped i move onto the next hard problem so as to save time.

Usually the harder ones....when I get a book of Sudoku puzzles, I usually flip to the back where the more challenging ones are and safe the easy ones for when I just want to do one quickly because I am busy doing other stuff.
