hit them???? I knocked the hell out of them. I had to move back in with my mom several years ago. I handled it by leaving before she was awake and coming in after I knew she would be asleep.

I couldnt move back in with my mom... didnt get along enough.. I did have to move in with my grandmother though...

With the sad state of the economy, and the decline of american's standard of living, more and more people are being forced to live in extended family houses. (families with multi generational)

From a traditional point of view, families sayed under the same roof for much longer... (in italy, it is common for men to live with mom until marrage/ 30s)

as far as dealing with it... It was ok, I was able to help her around the house, and did things that she couldnt do for herself... so it was all ok i guess.

Happens to the best of us.

Get a lock for the bedroom door and earplugs (who for, i'll let you decide lol)

Help them out more/follow the rules this time so they will be more likely to help you pay your debt or whatever and less likely to throw you right back out.
They will be equally as stressed and will resent you "using their house like a hotel" (no offence indended there) so please keep that in mind

I definitely do NOT recommend it! I've been there, done that - it was torture! I was afraid to move in the house, even though I had grown up there. To make it worse, I had two kids and they weren't allowed to make a noise either - so I had a screaming row with my mother and moved in with a friend.

I did about a two years before my Mom died. I simply made a timeline for myself to get my own place and made sure I stuck to it. There is no shame in having to go home and regroup your life plans.

No and I'm praying that never happens. I've had many hard times but not that hard.
