Putting people on hold for minutes at a time (that turn into hours) and first line people are not able to resolve issues is absurd in this day and age. It would be even more helpful if their front line people spoke English as their primary language and were empowered to solve problems without going off a script. It would not be my recommendation to purchase this product just to save someone else the seven hours of wasted time and the frustration I have experienced with this company. Anyone else have a Tracfone horror story?

HA !! Tracfone has been that way for years.

Now this is a holiday weekend, so if you had this problem today then thats definitely why. Seems everyone goes home early or they are not there, or on a coffee break or just plain ignorant.

And one of the reasons why their front line language is NOT English is: The company is based out of Miami, Florida.
So you can figure that one out easily.

Now if your adding minutes to your fone, best to use their website to add the PIN or if you have an up to date fone use the "redeem airtime" feature in the prepaid section of your fone to add the PIN number.

Calling them has always been a hassle. Its unfortunate.
Good Luck.

No, but I waited so long for a SPRINT rep that my new verizon phone battery died--and I only needed to confirm a pro-rate refund! I will deal through snail mail from now on...less aggravating!
