Should i change myself?

i dont like dressing up for school. i'd do it once in a while. i go to school in a tee and jeans. its not ugly tees either. its those hollister and american eagle tees. or i wear sweatshirts. and everyone at my school get really dressed up. like they put a makeup on, wear dresses and do their hair and stuff. basically a typical high school. and i have to leave at 6:30 and im not a morning person. and ppl are really telling to "be a girl" and dress up. i dont want to. 7 ppl told me that. and i dont WANT to. im fine not dressing up for school. i dont go to school to attract guys. i just go there to study and make friends. i dont even out my contcts on everyday. if im too lazy, i go to school in my glasses, which is considered a "disgrace." i can be girly, but i need to be awake. so, i wanna know: should i change myself? like dress up for school?

but i groom myself. like i make sure my clothes are clean and i dont smell and my nails arent dirty. basic stuff.

No. Don't try to be something you're not comfortable being. Just because everyone else does it, doesn't mean you have to. Sorry if it's cliche, but if everyone jumped off a bridge, would you, just because you'd be considered a "disgrace" if you didn't? Who cares? Focus on your education, be yourself, realize that glasses are hot (I wear them) and NEVER change yourself to please someone else. If someone doesn't like you because of how you are, if you're being yourself, then they're not worth it.

Ok. So the answer you'd get if you'd sent this question to, like, Girl's Life, they'd tell you never to change yourself to please others. Of course not. But dressing up is fun and that's exactly why people do it! It also catches people's eye (guys especially) but it sounds like your catching people's eye just fine. Why wake up early to dress up and touch up and care and stuff when you already have a look (that's comfortable, to boot)?

1] be the best student you can be
2] dress neatly, and be clean
3] wear tops in brights or pastels that look good on you - more flattering
4] when you get ambitious, you could pierce your ears, wear makeup, or style hair - lots of time for that! I wore Ts and jeans all thru high school, and rarely wore makeup.

its not a typical H.S if people get dressed up ur dressing like a girl and a teenager so no u shouldnt change those people are being dumb

No, you should be yourself and focus on your work and education. Those girls who get all dressed up? They will be working at Wal-Mart after high school. So put your mind where it should be :)

no, your being who you are, you shouldn't have to go out of your way to be someone that you dont want to be ok. it's very ok to be different. you dont want to be like everyone else and that is what's so special about who you are:)

YOU ARE PERFECTLY FINE. do whatever you want. if you don't want to dress up then don't. why do other people even care that you don't want to be girly or w/e? BE YOURSELF.
