I used to cook in an iron skillet, but have now switched to microwave oven to get rid of the fat. I rarely eat it anymore because I like it so much I could eat at least six pieces at a time and probably more.
Once in a great while, I will go to Cracker Barrel with friends and have the breakfast and then I get to eat bacon. I'm kinda like that little dog who thinks he is getting bacon. I get excited.

Prefer microwave. Skillet makes a mess.

I haven't bought "real" bacon in so long, but when I did it was in the micro oven with plenty of paper towels . Now I buy Hormel's turkey bacon. It's delicious and I do it in a skillet. Not nearly the fat or the grease to deal with.

I cook my bacon in the microwave.
I use a large platter....lay down paper towels then lay in 4 or 5 slices of bacon......cover with paper towels.....set the timer for 4 minutes and bacon is cooked to perfection!!
No skillet to wash....no grease to clean up!!!
All microwaves are different.....some may take longer and some may take less time to cook bacon.

Well so far as a 17 year old teenage boy, I cook the bacon with the microwave. Well I got it warm it up, right? Bacon is good, even Bicieta is good.

Skillet. I think it tastes better. Microwave cooked has a weird texture like rubber.

I actually broil it in the oven on a broiling pan. All the grease drips down through the holes of the pan so the bacon is not laying in a puddle of fatty grease. It crisps up nice and cooks fast as well!

On an electric griddle. I can cook half of the pack of bacon at a time plus cook pancakes or french toast afterwards. That's my grand children's favorite.
I save the bacon grease to make my daughter gravy and biscuits. Plus to season other things.
