DILRUWAN PERERA will be rather a is a good new prospect as an allrounder than only an off spinner for Sri Lanka for future. He can be a good attacking opening batsman in ODI to take over from Sanath Jayasuriya..
Though he is a good off spinner, he cannot be compared against Muralitharan.

I don't know much about him however, I've heard what he did for Sri lanka's A team....

Pal surely he has a long way to go but he definitely cant replace muralianna . IT will be difficult to fill in that void once he retires
