By Columbia University Medical Center, [RxPG] NEW YORK Columbia University Medical Center researchers have identified a brain network within the frontal lobe that is associated with cognitive reserve, the process that allows individuals to maintain function despite brain function decline due to aging or Alzheimers disease. This finding may provide a hint about how higher levels of cognitive reserve which is believed to build by regularly engaging in mentally-stimulating activities such as taking classes, gardening and volunteering, provides protection against Alzheimers disease or dementia by exercising the brain.

In addition to what Hot Coco Puff said, you should take classes about the human brain and how it works. Psychology is a fascinating subject and will bring to light answers to questions about your brain and the thinking process that you took for granted, and would have never asked. It will help you cope with stresses, life situations in general by helping you understand your behavior and your reaction to other people's behavior. Even if you do not pursue a degree in Psychology, you will not regret several classes in it. May I suggest:
1. Psychology 1 (pre-req for all psych classes except Developmental Psychology
2. Abnormal Psychology
3. Neuroscience and Behavior
4. Neurospsychopharmacology
Don't let those long fancy names scare you...No. 3 is simply a class in how your brain works. PERIOD.
No. 4 is simply a class on how drugs effect human behavior. PERIOD.
Go for it !!!!

If any man lack wisdom let him ask of God who will give to all men liberally and won't hold back, if he believes, not wondering if God is able to do it. For if any man doubts that God is able, he is unstable to think that man can give him wisdom and understanding better than God. God will not grant his request. (James 1:5- 8)
