I'd like to take care of this plant correctly, but I can't seem to figure out what it is. I'm driving myself crazy with all the online guides for identification so any help would be appreciated!

The leaves look like sage.

Give some more clues. How tall is the plant? Have you had it since last summer and did it overwinter outside? When month did the flowers appear?

Before the pic totally downloaded I thought it was a hydranga but I'm not too sure. Was it from a florist? If so It could be a type of hydranga. Pretty thing, sorry I'm not much help.
