Which color shoes goes better with a red dress?

Question

I'm going out with my ex next weekend to this formal dinner and I already have the perfect red formal dress to wear but what shoes go best with them? I don't want to buy a new pair but wear a pair I already have. Here are the choices:

1. A clear pump with silver in it
2. A pair of shiny silver strappy sandals
3. The same pair of shoes as No. 3 in Black
4. A pair of plain white pumps
5. A glittery pair of red shoes kind of like Dorothy in the wizard of oz

Which one is best?

Since there isn't a picture of the dress and shoes it's difficult to give the "best answer," but I would suggest choose the shoes you feel the best in. The ones you put on and think "dang I feel amaaaazing!" Come on ladies, we all know about those shoes!! :)

i'd definately go with the shiny silver strappy sandals. Anything strappy and silver is hot. Also I'd do dangly earrings. Hope it helps, and have fun!

I would go for the black but it's a pity you don't own brown as this goes really well with red (red shoes goes with a red top and black trousers but putting it together with a red dress is too much)

a black heel goes with just about everything.
but the silver strappy sandals is fine too.
depends on the shade of red.
if dark..black.
if more bright..silver.

I think black goes with everything.But it also depends on how dark the shade of the dress is.
