I feel that although it is somewhat the teenagers fault, it is mostly the parents fault and I will tell you why. We live in a society where we don't expect children to be truly responsible for their actions until they are at least 16 years old. We've decided that they cannot make reasonable adult decisions before that age or even older; otherwise we would let them buy cigarettes and drink beer well before they were 18.
Using that line of reasoning, when a 15 year old gets pregnant, we must blame the parents (and maybe the boyfriend, depending on his age).
Somewhere along the lines, that child was given more freedom and responsibility than they could handle in relation to their maturity level. Me and my sister never had curfews and we could stay out as late as we wanted, but we were mature enough at 13 and older to handle this responsibility. Obviously this female was not. Her parents were obviously unaware of her whereabouts and her actions and now there will be a child involved at too young of an age.
Blame the parents.

the parents are not to blame if the parents raised the child right its the teens fault for making a poor choice which will change the rest of there life. That's something the parents and teen will have to deal with A child is a gift from god So now instead of pointing the finger the teen and parents have to work together and support each other to prepare for the future of each otlher. without a good support system life will be hard for all Life is what you make it Live and let go Everything happens for a reason

It's the parents and the irresponsible childs fault. First, the parents have to tell the child and talk to them about pregnancy and what kind of cowards men are these days...They should atleast make sure that their daughter is n't sleeping with anyone.. anywho, It's also the teens fault because she should know to use protection, otherwise she will get pregnant and spend the rest of her life taking care of that child.

It doesnt matter how tight a leash, when those hormones start raging, Nature takes its course. Remember that our society is fighting Natures plan. There was a tjme that a boy was a man at 13, and a girl was married at 13 and the marriages were arranged. Its people who changed the plan so we all share the blame.

^It's not that cut and dry, they could come from a good caring home and they can still get pregnant. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink and you can talk until your blue in the face, explain all the reasons why they should wait, and those hormones will still kick in.
If they come from an uncaring home with no supervision it is more likely to happen, but than again some kids have morals even if there parents don't.

Mom and dad can't be with them 24/7/365 and a young boy can do the deed in like 20 seconds, so I have to put it on the kids.

The teen - she should know the difference between right and wrong - and besides she needs to finish school first before thinking about a family.
