I'm not some die hard lefty liberal or anything. It's just that Reps were so hardline against Clinton and Dems after the Monica Lewinsky scandal, I'm wondering if your stance on that has sofened a bit since Reps are being caught left and right doing lewd sexual acts. At least you don't cheat on your wives though....at least not with other women anyway. Ha! Ha! Pervs!!! :D

Who_me: not a bad answer but it's funny how you blame everything on TV (typical mom-who-could-care-less-about-what-the-kids-watch-as-long-as-I-get-my-rx-filled response) but then demonize the Dem who tried to blame it on his folks. Why can't we focus on what the politicians are doing policywise. Does their personal life need to be a three ring circus? If we didn't feed on the tabloid media so much, maybe more qualified people would run for office. As much as I value freedom, we have to find some way to hold our media accountable for taking things out of context. I don't know the magic verbage we would need to make into law, but I know when it really matters to the president he has a way of censoring them for his own interests. How many Iraq war caskets have you seen?....compliments of Bush censorship, none. There is a solution to the media riddle, and someday I hope I will crack that puzzle.

It was not about Bill getting a ******* from a girl young enough to be his daughter that the Reps got up in arms about but the fact that he went on national TV as well as in front of congress and told a bold face lie, "I did not have sex with that woman!" and he maintained that lie until he knew he was caught (blue dress with *** on it). Who are the other republicans that you speak of getting caught left and right in lewd sex acts.
And gee wiz, since cheating on your wife is ok to the Dems, and being gay is ok to the Dems and running a male prostituion ring from your senate office is ok to the Dems (Barney Frank) and screwing under age paiges is ok with the Dems, why are you acting so high and mighty when a Rep gets caught. And yes I do believe that Ted Kennady is a murderer but that since the Dems have no moral ground to stand on he got away with it
There are deviants in both party's but sadly the only ones that take the hit for it are the Reps and you know for good reason, they speak of decency and morals where as the Dems are up for anyone doing anything but sadly that only applies to their people. If your a republican and get caught you're a perv but if your're a dem and get caught you're just being a man and its normal.

Family values are no different than they were the last time I looked..except there are those in holly-weird who have a habit of discrediting the family ..as an institution ; encouraging promiscuity ; immorality..etc . I'd say people acting like "pervs" would have to get their ideas from you know who calls the shots in la-la land . But then those who don't watch films can get other not-so-nice "values" by following the leader of the democrat party..SenatorTed-Chappaquiddick-Kennedy..who takes advantage of young girls and leaves them to die in a watery grave ..while he spends the rest of the evening trying to get his relatives to take the blame . That's a trend-setter for ya .But no-body's laughing..certainly not the survivors of Mary Jo Kopechne .

With most of us, the family values are holding up just fine, thank you very much. Considering that the Dems don't even attempt family values and instead go with their secular-progressive values, I would say we are doing great in comparison.

My values as a conservative and proud Republican are very much in tact. Just because someone else displays bad behavior (regardless of politics) does not lessen my morals or values. And I believe our Republican party will only strengthen and grow through all of this.
