i have a 4 stoke 3hp brings and stratton engine i need to put the flywheel back it dos not use a puller you just pound it off do you hit form the other side? any ideas

GOD NO!!
It should just slide on.

Line up the slot in the flywheel with the slot in the crank shaft with the aluminum shear key in place.

Tighten the nut to 110 foot pounds.

ADDED: Does it have an engine brake that is controled by the mower handle.

Look and see if there are two threaded empty holes if so find two bolts that fit and tighten them equally until its loose.
I would be very Leary of hitting it, it made of aluminum and might break
