What would you say or do if your best friend told you they were moving?

Make the best of the situation, try to spend as much time together as possible, get her new address and phone number and make sure we visit each other at least once a year.
And last but not least, cry and cry.

I would be upset, but there's nothing you could do about it. Ask if they need help. Get their phone number and email and ask if they have facebook. My best friend recently moved to NYC...I miss her but we still talk. And I know I will see her again!

you could have a going away party for her or him.
when I moved away from my friends they got mad and took it as I was moving away from them because I didnt like them and I wasnt. It really hurt my feelings. not all my friends acted like that but a lot of them did. just be nice and dont think your friend is moving away because she or he doesnt like you.

say that you'll miss them, help them pack their stuff, get their new address and phone number... make sure you both have msn and/or facebook and email so you can keep in touch online as well, in case it's long distance calling.
