Well, it is hard to burn toast as it is already toasted. If that were to happen I would most likely crumble it for the birds outside or feed to the fish (I have a pond). My next course would be to go to the store and buy another loaf of bread if that is what you use to toast. Often in a case like this the best toast is with a wine glass! If worse comes to worse, scrape and eat the remains. Never waste anything!

If I have time I go and buy another loaf. If I don't I do without.
I hate the taste of burned food

Scrape it off and butter it, put some maple syrup on it to hide the burnt flavor and EAT UP!

WOW, that brought back memories of standing with my grandmother in her kitchen. She had burnt the toast and was scraping it off. So, that is what I would do, for sure.

Scrape it off and eat it. Lots of jelly covers anything.

I probably whine about it for awhile and then go next door to Winn Dixie for a new loaf. I don't like burned stuff.
