That reminds me of a child's poem I don't know exactly how it goes but I'll make something up here, that itself almost counts as, something from nothing. Well anyway... Something went looking for nothing, and every where that something looked he found nothing there, he checked the attic and up the stair and sure enough he found nothing there. Nothing hid in clear sight, both day and night nothing could be found, try as he might something almost all-ways never saw nothing where he wasn't.

Because nothing always gives nothing and something always gives something. Nothing happens without a cause, whatever you plant that's also what will grow and what you can harvest if ever it is a fruit tree. GIGO in the computer. This has been proven Biblically, Scientifically, Historically and Philosophically in their glorious harmony.

Well, if you think about it, there really is no such thing as nothing. Essentially, "nothing" is only a concept. If you have something, there IS something present, therefore a lack of something would be nothing...but what is a lack of something? Everything present in our galaxy (and beyond) is made up of matter. A lack of matter is inconceivable since everything is made up of something. Nothing would be non-existent since it is impossible for nothing to be made out of anything...so really, there is no "real" such thing as nothing.

That kind of reasoning turns the assumption that OUR universe is something free to choose nothing over something.

Because the universe given infinite time would progress through every possible combination and arrangement of existence, including the one in which we now live - since it obviously does have infinite time.
Also, cogito ergo sum, etc etc.

If there was nothing, we wouldn't be here to talk about it. Perhaps there is nothing, and everything is just an illusion as the Buddhists claim.

There is really nothing. All things are transient and resonate in emptiness, as if to say "IT IS.... NOT"
