Ok so I want this mp3 player rite. Whenever I place a bid for it like 3 bucks or something and click on the confirm bid it'll immediately say that someone else has out bid me. I've checked the bidding history and I'm the only one on there except he's on the top. It says that there's been 5 bids but I've made 4 of them and EVERYTIME I've bid it said that. How can this be?? How is it that he can do that so fast??

You need to bid using the MOST that you are willing to pay. The other person has done the same thing, so if the most you are willing to pay is less than the most they are willing to pay, the other person is going to win the bid.

Because he entered a maximum bid, which if is more than you are bidding, is why you are outbid. I hate that, too. What you should do is wait until almost the end of bidding time, see what the price is, and bid again. You may still be outbid, but you'll sort of know what kind of price they may be offering.

He has probably entered a maximum bid that's higher than anything that you have entered so far. If he did that, then his bid would keep increasing until it either hits what he entered for maximum, or someone else, maybe you, enters a bid higher than his maximum bid.

If you enter a maximum bid, it keeps happening automatically, so you don't have to stay online all the time.

He has just placed one bid, and it is higher than all the bids you've made so far. To learn more about bidding, go here: http://pages.ebay.com/help/buy/bidding-ov.html

Good luck!
