just got brand new dryer about 2 month ago. it was working fine at first. now the dryer is not producing enough heat. there is electric plug and there is a gas hose pluged to the back. did i run out of gas or what can it be? its a kenmore 800 series.

Could be. Sounds as if you have a gas dryer. The electricity is to run the motor, the gas is for the heat.

Could also be your dryer vent is clogged. I'm assuming you've been cleaning out the lint filter with each load. You also need to clean out that slot where the filter slips in.......it can collect lint. Finally the area where the dry vents outside, it can become clogged. Very surprising after just 2 months unless a bird nest or some such fell it or it hadn't been cleaned before you installed the new dryer. I have ServiceMaster clean my dryer vent to the outside about every other year. Thanks for reminding me to give them a call!

Finally check the pilot light on your dryer......read your instructions that came with the machine.

Is your vent hose too long, or clogged. That will cause your dryer to lose heat.

its something to do with the setting change the setting from half a sun to a full sun i had the same problem

return it or send a complaint to the company if you tryed everything
