if life is ever going to change, the pocketbook has to be hit so No it isn't; only when dollars come into play will someone maybe think twice before violating laws in private which they make in public from the podium and on the pretense of righteousness; no person is without fault but therefore you don't cast stones when you live in a glass house, Mr. Senator. What goes around eventually comes around in time.

Exactly..it happens here in Canada too...any criminal act should void their pension...there have been cases here where they actually earn more on pension after being disgraced....but was his crime that serious...it is the hypocracy of the man that is at issue not a quickie at the airport.

That's what Senators get -- if you don't like the laws, lobby to get them changed.

But realistically, there is no way Congress is going to vote to eliminate their own retirement benefits -- they are far more concerned with what benefits them than what the American people want.

As much as I am against Gays, why is it a crime for one to ask another one out. Kinda sounds like a double standard.

Maybe Craig should get his day in court before you start calling him a criminal.

Yes I do
I don't like what he did or how he tried to hide it but he hasn't done anything to loose his pension using your logic anyone who gets a speeding ticket should lose there social security

Since he was convicted of a misdemeanor, yes. It's amazing that you would advocate removing his pension while most liberals are screaming for gay rights. The left needs to pick a pew and stay in it.

I don't think it is fair than any elected reps get the deal that they do. It isn't really any more unfair that this one still gets his booty.
