You can also use these sites for the Chinese button knot:
http://totheweb.com/cuc/knots.html
http://www.cultureheritage.org/culturalheritage/chineseknotting/button.html
http://www.ezlearnchinese.com/Knotting/knot_bt.html
http://www.satincord.com/knots/buttonknot.htm
Pictures only: http://igkt.net/sm/index.php?topic=332.0 (second post down.)

And two ways to do it the way the Chinese girls learn it:
http://www.stellaceleste.com/htm/knots/buttonknotwith2cords.htm
http://igkt.net/sm/index.php?topic=323.0 (first post in the thread holds text instructions that are for the same way of tying as the link above this one, ignore the discussion below, as that is about the technical problems teaching with text.)

Clover has some knot templates for Asian Knots, including the Chinese Frog Buttons. Here is a website with a few photos:

http://www.quiltcrafts.com/cnkphotos.html#templates

You may have to search for them as they are a little hard to find but they are really handy to use because they help keep the loops etc. all the same size.

It is possible to make the Frog Button without templates. Here are a couple of links that show you how to do it.
