Of course. And it's sad to see how many people will look right at you and ignore the greeting. I find that happening mostly in the city, however. Not so much in a small town. Sometimes I think fear might be causing that, like maybe they're afraid you might want something from them. But it's all worthwhile when you see that someone is startled by it and still responds in kind. Those responses usually come with a smile, too. And it kinda makes my day, like maybe the person is thinking, "Well, that's nice! There are still some friendly people around."

I do it all the time!!!! And I smile when I do it. I feel that people nowadays are rude and I'm trying to do my part to get ride of that one person at a time
