To be honest, i like them both...but shop boyz music is only good to bump to, whereas avant's songs have a story to tell and real words to sing....but if i had to choose, i would say i like avant a little more than shop boyz. Btw, was that the type of answer you were looking for?

I LOVE Avant! The only thing I ever heard from Shop Boyz is Party Like a Rockstar.

Avant! He makes really good music! My favorite song from him is "Don't Take Your Love Away!"
