Help!!! I have pokemon firered rom for VBA and everytime i try it save it says please exchange backup memory!?

Plz help me i bought fire red then i lost it. I wanna save! Plz tell me how to fix it!

1. You need to do the following:

A. In the Options menu, change the Save Type from "64k"
to "128k".

B. Also in the Options menu, enable the Real Time Clock
(RTC)

You will need to restart the game, and lose anything you might have saved.

2. We don't believe you. And we don't care.
