Isis was Horus' mother. Hathor is his wife, in some stories.

There is a mix-up because there was a Horus the elder, and a Horus the child. Horus the younger was the posthumous child of Osiris and Isis. When Osiris was cut to pieces Horus the child came to live with his Mother.
The early Horus may have been Hathor Husband, but they are so mixed it is hard to tell.

When these similarities are described, the claim is often made that nearly all of those similarities were made up within the last few centuries, that no Egyptian documents mention any of them. Do you know any differant?
