he has been gone over 30 days, so no he dont have a right to his stuff. then he abandoned you ! hire a good attorney and make him pay for the divorce and also any bills you have paid since he left, and tires sitting the yard over long period of time will dry rot, so the r no good either.

Wow he wants his old tires and moter parts? This means YOU don't have to pay someone to dispose of all his junk. Get some boxes and pile all his old stuff and anything else you need hauled out so he can take that too. With his memory and junk out you will be smiling on the way to the lawyer's office. Get free!

He has no legal rights to anything unless a judge court orders it. Are you divorced are separated this will make a huge differance. Soem states have what's called abandement laws. Think of this. Give him what he wants so that you can be done with him forever. Cheap way to get rid of him. Place a value on the items and demand half the value of them.

It would be easier to give him the stuff he asks for than to deal with his lawyers. Even though he might not get the stuff at this stage that would still take a lot of your time and energy away from your kids. If you have it fork it over. If you don't then there isn't much he can do.

Get a good lawyer, file a restraining order, pack up the stuff of his you or the kids are not using, throw it on the lawn, and change all the locks on the doors and windows. Let your neighbors know he is not welcome near your home, and ask that they get a license plate number off the vehicle he is in if possible - it will be in your favor to know where he is living and were he works.

Let him pay for a lawyer!!!! The stuff he is asking for doesn't sound like it is worth all that much anyway!! I don't know what state you are in, and that makes a big difference, but if you feel threatened in anyway; call the police!! You can only control you and what you say or do!!! If you have kids, protect them too!! Good luck to you!

What a jerk he is, get your self a lawyer and keep the phone near by so you can call 911 and lock the door, might want to get a restraining order in place.

You are only required to store his stuff for a "reasonable" amount of time. A judge will certainly say that a year is more than reasonable. If you still have the stuff, I suggest you have a nice yard sale.
