It's just a shame that this would even become a legal issue. I can't figure out why anyone would want to dress like that to start with. It looks terrible. My daughter lives with a goof that dresses like that complete with the hat on sideways and wonders why he can't get a job. You would be better off in skinny jeans and sweat pants or even flairs.

They are talking of banning the low hanging baggy jeans or shorts. The idea is not to ban other clothing choices. The idea here is that the baggy hanging pants with the boxers showing is gang clothing.

Decency was not an issue in the inception of these United States. Our rights as human beings was what the issues were all about...Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The basis of this country was founded on Judeo/Christian values and the right to worship God freely was of utmost importance.
So keep your crack covered and your pants around your waist, have some respect and dignity!

We're not really free -- haven't been for decades.

Most people just don't do things that run up against the laws too often, so they don't notice how many restrictions exist.

The dress code laws you're talking about are likely to be struck down as unconstitutional violations of the 1st Amendment right to expression (symbolic speech, using clothing -- recognized for decades by the Supreme Court as a menas of expression).

I work in a garage and I have seen enough hairy butt to last a lifetime, my attitude is that anyone who exposes their behind in any way should be sentenced to wear suspenders for life.

We are not free. The last of our true freedoms disappeared under FDR. Freedoms not used are as good as the ones we don't have. A man who doesn't read is no better off than one who can't read. Same is true of freedoms.

Don't worry, this law will not ever pass, as it would be viewed as "racial".....

...we all know who likes to show their boxers... I personally think seeing someones underwear is too much information!
