Making sure not to labor! LOL I usually cook and so on but, I have figured out that everyone else gets to do nothing. So, Labor Day had become my day to LABOR!
Not anymore! This year, I have decided that I am NOT barbequing anything! I am not making one salad and i am not frying chicken or anything else!
So, I am going to be labor day free this year! Isn't that what this day is all about?

Well, Southern California is still well over 100 degrees every day and they say we're going to stay this way until the middle of next week. So I'm staying in.
I'll get up really early and get the exercise done and try to "chill out" the rest of the day.
Of course, I won't forget my friends on here. I do hope you all have a great weekend. Be Safe.

Absolutely NOTHING. I did nothing yesterday but deliver a nice back pack I had to a upcoming 5th grader that his mom had posted on FREECYCLE.ORG as needing. Only thing I did today...just a couple of minutes ago...was stack the charcoal and light it.
TOMORROW I might go out in the yard to work after church.
I took a FOUR day weekend...have to use up the rest of my vacation time before then end of September, or lose it.

Friday night I spent the evening at my son's house. We had a nice family dinner together & I got to spend time with my granddaughters.
Saturday...I cleaned house today & got groceries. I watched a special football game today also.
Sunday...I'm going to be going to my son's house again for a Labor Day picnic.

I work Monday night but the weekend Im just doing whatever I like.

Sitting in my air-conditioned home waiting for my hubby to come home from work. We're both volunteer firefighters and this is one of our busier week-ends. Tonight we'll go to a bar-b-q with other firefighters, just waiting for a call. They usually seem to come just as we're sitting down to eat!

Avoiding all functions that involve being in the sun. That includes watering the yard.

Well Thursday , Friday and today we had a garage sale, sold lots of goodies...... and tomorrow we are going to be fishing, and resting , and relaxing, and munching..... on Monday.......... the same thing...... and just resting...
