certain people trying to be Polite. Didn't want to say LET IT RIP. or phrases like HELLO MR BROWN, YOU CAN COME IN. maybe they were a little concerned that saying burning it, would encourage a certain party trick with a lighter, that earned some a visit from an ambulance or the fire brigade.
