The AAP (American academy of pediatrics) says that when your baby has diarrhea, any foods made up of complex carbohydrates, such as rice, wheat, potatoes, bread, and baby cereal, as well as lean meats, YOUGURT, fruits, and vegetables, are safe to eat.
As long as he stays hydrated, don't worry. try water and pedialite. Don't give him fruit juice.

yes, it can help as long as it has live cultures in it, that is key. if it is really bad, ive been told to only give pedialyte for 24 hours, nothing else. but try the yogurt first, along with a very bland diet.

Try some babydophilus or ad a capsule of acidophilus to the baby's bottle. If you are nursing then take it yourself. I would give the baby ground up brown rice with some acidophilus on it.

Only if it's the probiotic type. You can also buy probiotic yoghurt drinks in little pots. I give them to my kids if they have any diarrhoea and they work really well.

Give your baby plain fluids too, but you can also give oral rehydration solution from the chemists if the diarrhoea is very bad. If it continues contact the doctor as well as babies can become very dehydrated through diarrhoea.
