that tells me that someone left the door open for a while and/or there are fly eggs somewhere. hang a few strips of sticky flypaper around. i know it's kind of gross but, it's easier and faster than swatting and safer than spray. i don't think the pup really has anything to do with it.

I have a cat and occasional Miss Kitty will drag in a dead mouse or some such thing and leave it behind something. After a week or so there will be swarms of flies all over the place. After this happened a couple of times we learned it is caused by the cat dragging in something dead. You may have a similar situation. Look behind things such as couches and chairs until you find it.

get sticky fly paper for the flies.
for the puppy, get some newspaper and put it near the door. as days go by, move to papers closer to the door until it goes outside!
it worked for my brother's puppy!
good luck!!

Lots of homes have this problem this time of year. Get out the sticky flypaper, caulk around the windows and doors, and get that dog trained!!!
