Well they're not under the category "Christian Rock" however the band members are all devout Christians and if you listen to the lyrics you can clearly hear references to their religon "...its not faith if you use your eyes..." in one song, another being titled "Hallelujah". There was a bit of contreversay, in fact, over the fact that they said "but God it just feels so good..." (accused of using God's name in vain) however the band responded by telling fans that they were not in fact suggesting using God's name in vain, but simply describing a story of something that happened in high school.

The name of the band is Paramore, and they are indeed an awesome rock band. Although they are not called "Christian Rock" many Christians are fans partially because of that, but Atheists and other religons also enjoy their music. So if you aren't Christian, don't be turned off of the band because of what I'm saying. You only notice the Christian influences if you are looking for them!

Check them out...they might not be exactly what you were looking for, but I bet you'll like them regardless :)

Oh...and FAITH + 1 rocks :P just kidding...south park XD

Shinedown is a hard rock band that originated in Jacksonville, Florida. The members are vocalist Brent Smith, guitarist Jasin Todd, bassist Brad Stewart, and drummer Barry Kerch. The group was formed in early 2001 and signed a contract with Atlantic Records in 2002. Their song "Save Me" was the theme song for WWE No Mercy 2005. They opened for Van Halen on the Van Halen US tour 2004. They are currently co-headling the 2006 Sno-Core Tour with Seether. At these shows a second guitarist has been playing rhythm guitar allowing Jasin Todd to play more guitar solos, although there has been no official statement as to the guitarist's identity or whether he will be joining the band permanently. The band's song "I Dare You" is one of the theme songs of WWE's WrestleMania 22. Formed in early 2001 by Brent Smith (vocalist), Jasin Todd (guitarist), Brad Stewart (bassist), and Barry Kerch (drummer), the Jacksonville, Florida band wasted no time making their mark; starting strong with their 2003 album, Leave a Whisper, and 2005 release, Us and Them. The band also released a live DVD titled Live From the Inside in August, 2005. The DVD contains a full-length Shinedown concert held at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Shinedown has pulled together one of the fastest selling rock albums today. Certified as a Platinum album on September 21, 2005, Leave a Whisper sells 4,000 copies a day.[citation needed]
