High humidity in the atmosphere where you live.

Well if this is a window unit you could have one of 2 problems. Either the unit doesn't have the proper tilt or the pan is stopped up. The unit should be tilted to the outside and the condensation should migrate to the outside part where it will leave via a drain hole.

If this is a central unit you either have a stopped up drain pan or a loose drain fitting. It the drain pan drain connection is stopped up it will overflow and run out on your floors.

Hope this helps

air conditioners tend to dehumidify the air so water build up is expected. However, I'm surprised that it is soaking your floor. Did you install the air conditioner or a professional?

It sounds like part of the pan is missing or the a/c is slightly tilted at the wrong angle since it's not catching and draining the water.

condensation is created because ac take the humidity out of the air... is your AC level? I dont know what unit you are talking about but a window unit, it is better to have a very slight tilt towards the outside (so the water drips out)

if you are talking about a central system then check your humidifier unit (adds water to the air)...

Best of luck

It probably does that because it's really hot where you live. I live in TX, and my AC does that because the cold air mixes with warm air and forms condensation...
that's how rain works: Warm meets cold. If it keeps happening through cooler days, contact the seller, or lay down some towels where it's leaking, although that is a pain... : (
hope this helps!

First make sure that it is not freezing up. Then it could be that the drain pan is cracked. Those are made of plastic.
