(update)tortoise heat?

how cn i change my tortoises body temprature? like with side lamps and bulbs and all ? cuz im doing that , any other ways? thanks

Radiant (from above) heat from lightbulbs is the best way. Temps MUST be measured so they are correct. A digital probe thermometer is the most accurate. Too cool or too hot will lead to a sick reptile.

No, a good basking spot is your best bet. The easist way to achieve this is with a light.
