I found a beautiful white (almost transparent) spider under the vent visor of my car. I have tried to look for pictures of him on the internet but have found nothing what he looks like. If need be I can post a link to the picture I took of him a bit later.

Maybe a crab spider, some of them are white and transparent. Check these out and see if one of these is a match.

Translucent Spiders

Okay this can be one of two spiders?

FIRST IS The Crystal Spider
**********************************
It is a small spider and has a round, flattened abdomen attached to a slender waist from which eight delicate legs sprout, topped by the compound-eyed head. It has tiny fangs which curve in towards each other at the front of the head, and glittering hexagonal eyes. These Spiders received their name because the female is almost completely transparent, though her innards are visible. This makes them extremely hard to see. The male spider is more opaque, usually a dull white or silver, with crystalline legs and waist. Some of the internal organs are visible on certain male spiders but generally the genders can be told apart by their colouration. Although quite small they have a fast-acting venom that paralyzes their prey almost instantaneously and they can cause a very nasty bite to humans.

SECOND IS Crab Spider
********************************
Crab spiders are easy to identify since their first two pairs of legs are much longer than the others. Females are larger than males and their bodies can be almost round. Males have much longer legs, are smaller and have smaller bodies. They can be white, or pastel shades of pink, yellow or pale green. Crab spiders are not dangerous to humans.

Very good photos! I also am inclined to think it's one of the crab spiders, but it's sufficiently odd-looking that I'm not completely confident. The hairy-looking abdomen looks a bit unusual. I seem to recall a pure-white Crab Spider which is not one of the 'big three' (Misumena / Misumenoides / Misumenops), but I'll have to go see if I can find my old Kaston guide.

Hmm, I don't think I've ever seen any almost-transparent spider.
But definitely post the picture, people might recognize it.
