Mine was similar to Incognito, i just could not take it any more. I did tell him how I felt and what was wrong, hoping he would want to work on things. He just pouted for a while then things got worse. I am so happy that I am free, it was the best decision I ever made.... life is too short to live in an unhappy marriage.

Good luck to you, however it works out.

My last straw came one day when I asked my ex to check on my cousin. Her apartment buildings were on fire and I was so worried about her, but I was at work and could not do anything. When I asked him his reply was, "she could burn up for all I care". That did it for me. We were having problems any way and I had tried to leave him once before, but he wanted to make it work, so he said. That was the last straw because I would do any thing for his family if it were a crisis or not, and there were several I did not care for.. So that was it. I told him that I did not love him any more and left.

My first husband decided the same thing for our marriage. I did not want it. The last straw was when he kept having affairs. I could not take it any longer. I know it is hard for you. Best wishes.

the last straw was when i found a post it note attached to the bathroom mirror saying it was over and "asking" me to pack up and be out in 6 days. the funny thing is that i wasn't expecting anything like that at all. it sucks, but like you said, you can't do it alone.

The last straw was the feeling I couldn't take it anymore.
Yes,even though it was the hardest thing in the world, I knew it was right and I moved on and met someone better.
