solve the following equation by using the quadratic formula.

y = ( 6 +- sqrt( 36 - 44) )/ 2 since 36-44 <0 this equation has NO solutions.

Have you learned i = sqrt(-1)?
y = (6 +- sqrt(36-44))/2
= 3 +- sqrt(-2)
= 3 +- i sqrt(2)

(y-5)(y-6)=0
y=5,6

Coordinate:
(5,6)(6,11)
