6x^2 -17x +5 =(3x-1)(2x-5)

Simplify: (6m^4-2) -(2m^3-1) + (4m^4-6m^3)
= 10 m^4 -8 m^3 -1

Use Linear combinations to solve the linear system
3x+2y=-5
4x-3y=16

9x + 6y = -15
8x -6y = 32

17x = 17 therefore x = 1

3(1) + 2y =-5
2y = -8
y = -4
solution = ( 1, -4)

6x^2 -17x +5
=(3x-1)(2x-5)

(6m^4-2) -(2m^3-1) + (4m^4-6m^3)
= 6m^4 -2 -2m^3+1 +4m^4 -6m^3
= 10m^4 -8m^3-1

Multiply 1st Eq by 3 and 2nd Eq by 2 getting
9x + 6y = -15
8x -6y = 32
Add these two new equations getting :
17x = 17 --> x = 1
Put x=1 in 1st Eq getting:
3(1) + 2y =-5
2y = -8
y = -4
