A month ago I hit something after writing a question, I got a "you cannot answer your own question" notice. I have not been able to delete"you cannot answer your own question" this is really annoying. I would like to have it deleted, any ideas?

You may have been trying to add something to your question. This happened to me when I made a mistake and I tried to correct the error. So, I had to restate the question.

Also, I tried to pick a best answer some months ago and it would not let me. It was my question and it still would not let me pick the best answer. Oh well, nothing is completely accurate. Just issue the question again. I would love to know what it was

Okay, this is an edit. That is always on there when anyone looks at their own question to see if they had gotten any answers yet. You cannot remove it. Yahoo put it on there on purpose to keep people from answering their own question. I never realized that was what you meant.

Hope this helped.

Bubbl E...everyone who asks a question gets this "you can not answer your own question" notice when they go into that question, as long as the question is open. It is a permanent feature of Yahoo, and not meant for you alone, but ALL OF US.

Just ignore it. It isn't going away (unless yahoo changes things around to remove it), and it means nothing. Okay?

You drew this question up on your profile.. It doesn't mean anything important just ignore it. At least you are being recognized.

It's OK. Don't let it annoy you. I'm pretty sure you can't remove it.
