Bush benefitted by Rove's dirty style of starting rumors about McCain of having illigetimate Asian and "black" babies in South Carolina (in particular but he carried on this in other states)... these rumors were actually printed on flyers and put on cars at McCain rallies. Rove hoped to exploit a racially tense population to help his candidate... some people call this genius.. others say it is uncaring.

In 2000 a strange phenomenon occurred. Traditionally whoever wins the New Hampshire primary is then annointed as the front-runner, and his campaign suddenly gets inundated with cash. In 2000, McCain won the primary, but the money flowed towards Bush. I agree with your assessment that Bush is more or less a puppet of the wealthy, but so was every president back to at least Woodrow Wilson.

There really not much difference between the two,but it wasn't known back then,be assure that if anyone would have known what this poor excuse of a president had in mind when he took office,he would have never been elected,especially his stupid and irrational stance on immigration,by the way,that's what help many voters turn against John McCain,that ridiculous immigration bill,he and the other two yo yos,Kennedy and Reid came out with
